Deprecations
Features that are replaced by something better are announced here before they disappear. This allows the transition to be planned without anything vanishing unexpectedly. Every deprecation is also reported under What's New; this page remains the reliable overview until the feature is removed.
Rules
- A deprecated feature remains usable at least until the stated date.
- It is no longer developed further; bugs are fixed only if they prevent its use.
- The replacement is named in each case. If the replacement lacks a capability, that is a reason to get in touch via Feedback.

Integrated chat assistant (header)
The chat assistant opened via the icon in the header is replaced by the connected AI assistants. Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code take over its duties – starting processes, opening tasks, searching data – with the same rights as the logged-in user, and beyond that analytics, creating records and completing tasks.
What to do: Ask the administrator for the role "Connect external AI assistants (MCP)" and connect the preferred assistant following the Setup. For questions about using Pantarey, this documentation is available.
Not affected: The predefined AI building blocks in processes ("AI: Classify document", "AI: Summarize text", etc.) and the AI support in the editors remain unchanged.
