Start Processes

This card is used to launch actions – for example an invoice run, a leave request, or a material order. Only actions that the logged-in user is authorized to start are shown. One click is all it takes to start the desired process.


What is shown here?

  • Favorites: Frequently used actions appear at the top as tiles with an icon and name. The most important action is always just one click away.
  • All actions: Below the favorites, all actions available to the user are listed and sorted by group. Groups can be expanded or collapsed.
  • Search field: The search field allows you to quickly find a specific action – useful when many actions are available.

Example

Every month, an invoice run needs to be started. Instead of navigating through multiple menus, the action "Start invoice run" is simply marked as a favorite. From now on, a single click on the dashboard is enough.


Tips

  • Set favorites: Click the star icon on an action to pin it to the top permanently.
  • Few actions? If fewer than six actions are available, they are all displayed as tiles automatically – without groups or favorites.
  • No actions available yet? In this case, hints are shown to create a new process in the designer or import a ready-made template.
